During the 2020 pandemic, as the worldwide lockdown began and shipping and logistics came to a standstill, a dire need for locally made medical and other plastic components emerged.

Recognizing this need, MK Studio was established as the first group to produce face shields for healthcare workers in Alberta.

Over a span of four months, we successfully delivered over 30,000 units of face shields, ear savers, and other essential medical supplies to frontline workers and vulnerable populations.

Through the strong relationships we’ve build with the community. MK Studio decided to continue the work and evolved to serve Calgary and the broader Alberta population.

Our mission now is to provide high-quality 3D printing service that produce parts that are strong, accurate, and cost effective.

With our track record of serving thousands of customers, we are committed to keep on serving our community. We are also currently experimenting with locally made, sustainable, and bio degradable plastic material, to keep our plastic production in Alberta more self reliant.
